A Britney
Spears fan club is closing down because its organizers
think the star does not respect her fans. The people
behind the Belgian Go Britney Fan Club will continue to
run their Britney website, but are winding up the club.
They claim Britney finds her fans "annoying". A
posting on the (gobritney.org ) website, from the Go
Britney staff, reads: "So, to be honest with our
members we can't let fans pay to be a member of a Fan Club
of someone who considers the fans annoying and only
interesting when they buy CDs, merchandising, etc.
"Note - for the fans who were members of the Fan
Club, we will continue and do all that was promised until
the end of their membership."
