Britney Spears
is said to be deeply upset after TV bosses banned her from
performing at Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary concerts.
The concerts,
due to take place tomorrow and Monday in New York, are to
be televised by US TV channel CBS. Britney has a
multi-million dollar deal with rival channel HBO who have
told the pop princess that she could be sued for millions
if she appears on the line-up.
It's reported
that both Britney and Michael Jackson burst into tears
when they were told the news. Britney said recently of
Jackson: "I love him because he's not only a singer
but a performer as well. He is a genius."
Britney's
boyfriend Justin Timberlake will be performing at the
concert with his band 'NSYNC. Other artists on the bill
include Destiny's Child, Ricky Martin, Usher and Missy
Elliot.
